Pilkington Activ Blue self cleaning glass - Black infra red heater

This Simplicity 6 glass veranda located in Bristol, South West also has self cleaning glass as an optional extra.
• Pilkington Activ has been specifically designed for conservatories, conservatory roof replacements and large glazed areas.
• The first stage of the cleaning process is "photocatalytic". In this stage the coating reacts with daylight to break down organic dirt.
• The second stage is "hydrophillic. Here, instead of forming droplets, rainwater hits the glass and spreads evenly, running off in a "sheet" and taking the loosened dirt with it, also drying quickly without leaving streaks.
• Pilkington Activ Blue tinted glass combines self cleaning glass and medium solar control properties. Solar control is achieved through the use of absorptance in the body tint of the glass.
