GLASS VERANDA COST

WHAT AFFECTS THE PRICE OF A GLASS VERANDA?

There is no single price that accurately describes a made-to-measure glass veranda. The final cost depends on the size of the structure, the canopy system, roof glazing, frame finish, upgrades and the details of the property where it will be fitted.

Rather than publish a misleading headline price for a basic configuration, All Weather Canopies provides a project-specific quote based on what is actually required. This guide explains the main factors that change the cost so you can understand what goes into the quotation.

HOW MUCH DOES A GLASS VERANDA COST?

The cost of a glass veranda is driven by the specification rather than one fixed price. Two verandas with the same length can have very different requirements if the projection, glass type, frame layout, property height, colour or optional extras are different.

1. Length and projection

The overall size of the veranda is one of the biggest cost factors. A compact shelter over a doorway or seating area uses less framework and glazing than a structure running across the full width of a property. Projection also matters because larger roof areas may require a different system or structural arrangement.

2. The veranda system

All Weather Canopies offers several systems for different sizes and uses. For example, the Simplicity 6 is a glass-roof system with a maximum projection of 3.5m, while the Simplicity Xtra is designed for larger outdoor living areas and can project up to 4m. The most suitable system is chosen around the building and the space you want to cover.

3. Glass and roof specification

On systems such as the Simplicity 6, roof choices include 6mm toughened glass and 6mm solid polycarbonate. UV-activated self-cleaning glass is also available as an upgrade. The chosen glazing specification affects both the appearance and the project cost.

4. Frame colour and decorative upgrades

Standard finishes can be the most straightforward option, while custom powder coating to a RAL or BS colour adds more personalisation. Traditional properties can also be enhanced with a Victorian-style upgrade on suitable systems.

5. Lighting, heating and enclosure options

Lighting and heating can be integrated into suitable systems to extend how long you can use the covered space. Some veranda systems can also be upgraded with glazing or doors to create a more enclosed outdoor room. These extras are optional, so the quote can be built around how you actually intend to use the space.

6. The property and installation requirements

Every property is different. Building height, access, the required fixing position and features such as bungalow brackets or beam systems can change how the veranda needs to be designed and fitted. That is why an accurate quotation needs the project dimensions and property details rather than just a price per metre.

7. Installed or supply only

If you do not require the full installation service, All Weather Canopies also offers supply-only products. The supply-only enquiry collects the width, projection, building type, colour, roof material and optional upgrades needed to prepare the correct specification.

How to get an accurate glass veranda price

Start with the approximate width and projection you want to cover, then consider whether you prefer toughened glass, a particular frame colour and any upgrades such as lighting or heating. You can review the systems on our verandas page and download the available brochures and datasheets. When you are ready, contact the team for a free project quote.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no single glass veranda price?

Because the structure is configured around the size of the property, the selected system, roof material, finish, upgrades and installation requirements. A fixed headline price could be misleading if it does not match the project you actually need.

Does self-cleaning glass cost more than standard toughened glass?

Self-cleaning glass is an upgrade option on suitable systems, so it can change the final quotation compared with the standard glazing specification.

Can I reduce the cost by choosing supply only?

A supply-only route is available if you do not require the full installation service. The correct option depends on your project and who will be carrying out the installation.
