This is one of our best examples of the Simplicity Xtra veranda that we installed in Perranporth, Cornwall.
Contemporary Simplicity Xtra veranda powder coated in anthracite grey RAL7016 with glass roof. The system covers both end patios with a shorter projection between. All three patio doors can now be left open when it’s blowing and raining making sure flooring stays dry inside. Mr & Mrs B can now use all of their raised terrace area come rain or shine. Installed by our local approved trade partner.

This Perranporth project is an excellent example of how the Simplicity Xtra can be used to create a substantial covered outdoor area while keeping the structure clean and contemporary. The installation uses multiple veranda sections to follow the layout of the property and patio, creating sheltered areas that remain visually consistent across the rear of the home.
The system is finished in Anthracite Grey RAL 7016, a popular choice for modern properties because it works particularly well alongside darker window and door frames. Clear toughened glass is used in the roof, allowing natural light through while providing permanent protection from rain and changeable weather.
One of the advantages of the Simplicity Xtra is the distance that can be achieved between front posts. This helps reduce visual obstruction and gives the finished veranda a more open feel. On this project, the arrangement also allows the different sections to work around the shape and dimensions of the patio.
Rainwater is managed through the integrated guttering and downpipe system within the aluminium structure, helping maintain the simple appearance of the veranda. The finished installation provides a practical outdoor living area that can be used far more often throughout the year without making the rear of the property feel enclosed.
